Using NovoCRM to manage your sales team..

NovoCRM was designed to allow you to manage yoursales better by splitting up the way you work with leads vs. opportunities. This helps you to have a separate list for each that you can work with to feed the other.

So how does it work..?

Leads
Use this list to add leads that you want to keep track of. These are people whoare interested in your products or services. You can keep track of when youspoke to them and schedule follow ups. At this stage a lead does not have anypricing or quotes sent to them.. once a lead moves into the pricing or quotestage you can right click and promote the Lead to an Opportunity.

This way you can track your leads to see how you are feeding your sales funneland it keeps your sales items organized.

Opportunities
Once you send out pricing or quotes you should move them items into the Opportunitieslist... this will take over all the lead data you recorded before and you willnow have a new tab for sales rating, revenue with the ability to attachdocuments and quotes.

Use the status field to indicated in which sales stage the Opportunity is andthis will help you in your forecasting. Use the quick report to generate thereports that you can take into sales meetings.

Once you close the deal you can right click and promote the Opportunity to aAccount. This represents a new lifecycle that you now manage.
